    Version 7 contains significant changes in the internal codes and libraries. If you are updating from the previous version, update with caution, like if you have an older version of PHP, it may break your application. And before updating, create a complete backup of your files and database. We recommend, update a few days later, after we do more tests. If you are installing new, it's OK to install v7.

    • New: Dynamic invoice prefix. Go to General Settings, under the Settings. On invoice prefix, use the placeholder like- INV-{date('Y-m-d')}- You can change the date format inside the date function on this string.
    • New: Added a new field in the General Settings to override the “VAT number” field with something else, for example, “GST number” for some countries. You can set translated localized string here.
    • New: You can override the default purchase order pdf template like invoices without editing the core codes. To do this, rename the file system/overrides/purchase_pdf.sample.php to purchase_pdf.php and edit it.
    • Improvement: Editing email template, added a dynamic URL to bypass the cache, in some server settings it was preventing saving data.
    • Improvement: Validation of messages translation improvements for more than 17 languages.
    • Fix: If you choose the tax system “Quebec Canada.”, you would be able to set 3 digits decimals on the tax rate, e.g., Sales Tax (QST+GST) 14.975
